Passwords

Passwords- is another security method, passwords are a security measure implemented onto all computerised service and all users accounts, the simple reason being because passwords, they data integral and private, so only authorised users can access it, passwords have been put in place to prevent unauthorised access to your/business files and data, since technology is rapidly advancing hackers are becoming more and more advanced, which why nowadays passwords when being create have certain conditions which the user must meet, such as, having at least : 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter 1 symbol and at least 1 number, as well as this the password cannot be your name or about you (you mustn’t tell anyone your password), examples of where passwords are used, is for email accounts, social network accounts and any type of account, to protect user (your) privacy. HSBC would use passwords, firstly for their user accounts, as this would mean everyone has a unique password, which enables only them to access their account, they would also use password, on the doors, so only employees can enter the employee area of the bank. Finally HSBC, would use passwords, to keep customer details safe and securely held within their, network they would do this by having multiple password, all with different access rights depending on who it is, would depend on the access they get, so if it’s the IT, team they won’t be able to access the customer details, but the network settings etc., and vice versa, in HSBC they would be to prevent unauthorised access to different areas of the organisation to prevent data falling into the wrong hands/being mistreated.
